2/14/05 - happy valentines day
Here’s a rundown on whats been happening: currently King Wilkie is in New England and today had a very cool visit with photographer and confidant Herbie Greene.
...Saturday’s concert in Charlottesville was amazing. The filled-to-capacity Starr Hill Music Hall was keyed up and an anonymous phantom light-man provided additional theatrics. The evening’s set included a handful of new tunes as did the previous night’s performance at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA. King Wilkie also recently had a chance to sit down and discuss matters with Bob Edwards for an upcoming XM radio broadcast. Check back for broadcast schedules.

2/6/05 - a whole different beast
The band is in the market for a vintage roundneck resonator guitar and keeps placing bids too low on ebay. If anyone knows of such an available guitar, please contact us.
Thanks!

1/30/05 - great lakes great times
Today was the Ann Arbor Folk festival in the beautiful Hill Auditorium at the U. of Michigan, maybe the most beautiful theater King Wilkie has ever played in, certainly the largest. During Keb Mo's set some of us ventured up to the very top balcony nose-bleed section, literally 4 stories above the stage. An incredible experience. Everybody is stuffed after being served 3 meals in the span of 6 hours, followed by an after party with the Indigo Girls and actor Jeff Daniels. Lotta fun.
